What is Reiki and how it works?

Some practitioners describe reiki as acupuncture without the needles. Reiki is a complementary health approach in which practitioners place their hands on or just above different areas of the body. It's based on an Eastern medicine belief that living beings have energy fields that support their health and vitality.

What happens during Reiki?

During a session, a Reiki practitioner will gently move their hands above or on the client's clothed body in a series of hand positions. Each hand position is held for around 3 to 10 minutes, or depending on the client's needs, and typically focus on around the head and shoulders, stomach, and feet
